Booleans Union

Combining objects together
Boolean Union operation
I can see that using the two different tools producee different results. When using the Combine tool, the cylinder is joined together with the square, just like the result from the Booleans Union tool, but if you look in x-ray mode, the cylinder still exists inside the square; whereas the other results in both the object merging into one single object. The part inside the cylinder cube is gone. Another difference is that objects that are combined can be separated but objects that are merged by the Booleans Union tool cannot be separated again.
